Our Theology of Change

Practicing the way of Jesus

To follow Jesus is more than believing certain things — it’s about becoming His disciple. We believe discipleship means ordering our lives around three goals: be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. These practices shape who we are as a community and how we live out the Kingdom of God in Tifton.

1. Teaching

Discipleship begins with presence. Through prayer, Scripture, worship, and silence, we learn to abide in Him daily. We believe the most important thing we can do is to simply be with Jesus.

2. Community

2. Community

As we follow Him, Jesus transforms our hearts, minds, and actions. Through spiritual practices and biblical community, we are shaped into His image — learning His character, His compassion, and His way of life.

Discipleship always leads to mission. Just as Jesus came to serve, heal, and proclaim the good news, we join Him in that work. We live sent — loving our neighbors, seeking justice, showing mercy, and making disciples.
